Reports from drivers about things like low overhangs, washouts, narrow sections and damaged road edges. Reports are published after review and may be edited or removed. They are not verified, they may be out of date or wrong, and they are not a substitute for road signs or your own judgement.
Urgent hazard on a state highway? Call NZTA on 0800 4 HIGHWAYS (0800 444 449). In an emergency call 111. For a local road, call the council. Check road conditions on NZTA’s Journey Planner.
Truck-friendly places
Truck parking, cafes, repairs and other services that have told us they welcome heavy vehicles. Businesses supply their own details. HAULR does not inspect or endorse any listing, and access, hours and space can change, so check with the business before you go.
Own a place that welcomes trucks? Use “Add your business”. There is currently no charge for a listing on this website, you choose what is shown, and you can ask us to change or remove a listing at any time by emailing support@haulr.co.nz.
